The main website address opens in English for every visitor. You can choose German or Simplified Chinese from the language menu. The language feature does not detect your country or IP address and does not save a language preference in browser storage.

When you access this website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser or device information and response status. This is necessary to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose technical faults.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR—our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website. Log data are retained only for as long as necessary for technical operation and security, unless a specific incident or legal obligation requires longer retention.

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we process the information you choose to provide, together with the contact details and communication metadata needed to respond. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when your enquiry concerns a contract or steps before a contract, and otherwise on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for professional correspondence. Statutory record-keeping may additionally require processing under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Enquiry data are kept only as long as needed to handle the communication and any resulting business relationship, subject to applicable statutory retention periods.

The current website does not set non-essential cookies and does not use analytics, advertising tracking, embedded maps, embedded video players or externally hosted web fonts. A consent banner is therefore not used in this release.

If these functions are introduced later, this notice and—where required—the consent mechanism will be updated before they are activated.

The site includes ordinary links to external websites and a WhatsApp contact link. Data are transmitted to an external provider only when you choose to follow such a link or use that service. The destination provider then processes data under its own privacy terms. Depending on the provider, this may involve processing outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards available to that provider.

Personal data may be made available to contracted hosting, IT or communication service providers only where needed to operate the website or respond to your communication. Data are not sold. They may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
